Merriam Webster Dictionary and Thesaurus

The classic reference is online, and also provides audio pronunciation of words.

 

WordNet

Described by it's Princeton creators as "a lexical database of English language",

Wordnet allows users to see lexical and semantic association between words.

 

Visual Thesaurus

This is just a trial version, but it's still an amazing tool for searching and seeing

associations between words.

Capital Community College provides an online textbook in Grammar, Usage,
